My Model
"A"

The black and white photos were taken by my Dad shortly after I bought the
car in 1968. He was dead set against me buying such an old car but it
quickly became a bonding agent for both of us. Dad taught me a lot.
Unfortunately he passed away three years later but his memory lives on for
me in the "A". Too many
fond memories to ever sell my "baby".

In the Movies
These photos ware taken on the set of the movie "Two Bits" starring Al Pacino and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. The Model A was in several scenes and I appeared a couple of times as an "extra". Working on a movie set was a very interesting experience. Everyone was so professional, meticulous and devoted to doing their job to perfection. Even the state inspection sticker placed on my windshield was an original from 1933! The rule of the day is hurry up and wait. I was also involved behind the scenes for the filming of "Rocky V" and latest in the Rocky series, "Rocky Balboa".
Model "A" Restoration
Ever dismantle and reassemble a car? It's amazing the amount of work and space required. Take a rusted, bent piece of 70 year old sheet metal. Weld it, straighten it, fill it,
sand it and refinish it to "like new" condition. I find the end result very
gratifying.
