Jupiter

The king of the planets.  This shot of Jupiter shows the Great Red Spot (at the upper right).  Imagine a hurricane with 1,000-mph winds, lasting at least 300 years that would cover the area of three earths. That's Jupiter's Great Red Spot!  Jupiter is so massive that all of the other eight planets in our Solar system could fit inside of it.

Notice the rapid rotation of the planet.  A day on Jupiter lasts less than 10 hours.
